Mission Irony?

Setup and Preparation: 1915hrs (Sydney time)
Server Preparation and Mission Load: 1900hrs (Sydney time)
Briefing and Mission Launch: 1930hrs (Sydney time)

The Takistan National Army (TNA) having been fighting a losing battle against the self proclaimed Takistani Freedom Fighters (TFF), for the better part of four (4)  months. An Australian envoy traveled to Takistan two months ago to broker an agreement for the use of Australian Special Forces in the region. Five days ago Australia’s Takistani Emissary went missing, whilst on a humanitarian visit to the TNA held town of Nagara, to the West of Takistan’s capital Rasman. While there has been no ‘claim’ of culpability for any of the various terrorist groups scattered across the region, the TNA are confident the TFF are at fault. Four days ago Australia inserted a Clandestine Stalker unit into the mountainous region in the south. Two days ago Australia and Takistan reached a tenuous agreement for Australian AMCU units to set up three bases in the region ( One Airfield, One Major FOB and One Camp in the countries Capital ). For now, AMCU has executed authority on TFF held towns and compounds.

Prior to AMCU insertion in Takistan, clandestine Stalker units were covertly operating throughout the region gathering intelligence on a radical TFF splinter group operating in the area. ASOR’s objective is to follow intelligence trials and find the diplomat  (OBJ Cascade) before he is killed or ransomed.

Enemy –
TFF – Eastern Weaponry, light vehicles, Middle-Eastern garments, light vehicular use. Expected to be highly mobile.
High Danger Warning: Use of VBIED, IED’s and other explosives is likely. TNA has had a low occurrence of IED in towns, a medium occurrence of IED’s leading into hostile held areas.

Friendly –
TNA – infantry based, underfunded and ill-equipped. Patrol major central towns. Weak Garrisons on large fringe towns.
AMCU – Infantry, X-Ray

Civilian –
Highly populated regions. TNA reports that terrorist cell’s do masquerade in civilian attire.

Terrain –
Takistan: Mountainous, sparse woodlands, urban and desert.

Follow the intelligence trial too OBJ Cascade.
