Mission By Howard Moon

Setup and Preparation: 1900hrs (Sydney time)
Server Preparation and Mission Load: 1845hrs (Sydney time)
Briefing and Mission Launch: 1930hrs (Sydney time)

I’d say it’s a good morning, but it isn’t over yet.

As you well know, Operation Beregu Acropolis was a success. We have managed to secure the three island objectives and push our forces onto the mainland and capture the town of Nordstern. The securing of these objectives has given us a direct supply route to an eastern offensive limiting the effectiveness of enemy forces coming out of the Capital. If tonight’s operation is a success, we will have secured the necessary positions to provide a blocking force for Blue Forces and their assault on the North-Eastern airfield.

After Operation Acropolis we are down some men. The time for mourning is later. Although we are short in numbers, we believe tonight’s operation can remain a success. Stay sharp, communicate well, drive information up the chain of command and we’ll all get home safely.

Over and out, soldier.

The primary objective of Operation Beregu Tuco is to secure the eastern front outside the Capital of Napf, Lenzburg. In order to achieve this the towns of Magden and Ruemlingen must be captured and held, as well as a junction on the MSR leading into Lenzburg. The purpose of securing the eastern front is to advance our foothold in the area in preparation for the assault and capture of Lenzburg in the near future.

The town of Olten must be avoided due to its heavy resistance occupation.

The secondary objective of Operation Tuco is to eliminate the remaining AAA threats within the area. IMINT via satellite imagery shows that AAA threats still remain north of Nordsten, however, intelligence is only 70% certain that multiple AAA positions exist. These must be eliminated in order to introduce the presence of friendly rotary and fixed air support.

Enemy –

Infantry: BKT size is unknown at this point but expect at lest a company

Armour: Mechanised units have been sighted in the area.
Limited heavy armour is expected due to their expedition to other areas of conflict.

Air: Enemy air presence is not expected, however, this intelligence is considered unreliable.

Ordnance: We expect heavy AAA around the Capital, Lenzburg. In addition to this, there are still known AAA positions near the town of Nordstern. It is unknown at this stage whether AAA positions are located in or around Magden or Ruemlingen.

Friendly –

Infantry: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta are available.

Air: Rotary and Fast Air possibly once AAA is down

Civilian –

After the munitions explosion at Nordstern, it is believed there are no civilian entities within the area.

Terrain –
          NAPF Island: Urban, Forest

At 0650 orange forces will commence an assault on the towns of Magden, Ruemlingen and the MSR junction to the south of Ruemlingen to gain control of the eastern front of Lenzburg.

The mission will occur in Seven phases:
Phase One – Briefing and Preparation
Phase Two – Search and destroy AAA positions north of Nordstern
Phase Three – The assault of Magden
Phase Four – The assault of Ruemlingen
Phase Five – The assault of the MSR junction south of Ruemlingen
Phase Six – Securing the MSR Junction
          Phase Seven – Debriefing
